Oral Surgeon Russel S. Bleiler D.M.D.

customPhotoDr. Russel S. Bleiler was born at Fort Gordon Army Base located in  Augusta, Georgia and then grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Moravian College with a B.S. degree in Biology. He attended Temple University School of Dentistry and received the degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine. He was a member of various clubs and honor societies.

Dr. Bleiler then was selected for a general practice residency/rotating internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center. He returned to Temple University Hospital/Pennsylvania Hospital to complete a four year residency in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Bleiler is a Board Certified (Diplomate) American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons as well as the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is also a member of OKU National Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Bleiler is a member of American Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons, National Board of Dental Anesthesiology, American Dental Association and Pennsylvania Society of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Bleiler is an Associated Professor at Temple University School of Dental Medicine and on staff at Temple University Hospital.

Dr. Bleiler has been the surgeon for the Philadelphia Soul, Philadelphia Flyers and Philadelphia Phantoms.

Dr. Bleiler maintains his surgical practice in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.

He is a dedicated husband and father of four children. Dr. Bleiler is a member of his local school board and he enjoys many hobbies, some of his favorites are golfing, fishing and sports.
